Jr. Project Coordinator

Department: Project Management
Location: McKinney, TX

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with job set-up (non-financial) – manage the Project Startup Checklist
  • Setup initial project filing system on W/drive
  • Assist with Submittal Import Template
  • Create drawing and spec logs
  • Assist with creating subcontract agreements and processing executed subcontracts
  • Follow up with subcontractors to collect executed subcontract and/or missing information
  • Update Contract Status Log
  • Update Project Staff List
  • Assist with creating subcontract change orders and processing executed subcontract change orders
  • Create Project on GC Pay and set up integration for subcontracts on CMIC
  • Create Internal Closeout Log. Collect closeout documents – PCs manage the administrative closeout process
  • Front desk support
  • Other tasks as assigned

Clear Path to Promotion

  • Gain base understanding of how to process, distribute, and retrieve subcontracts
  • Gain base understanding of how to collect, distribute, and process subcontractor pay applications
  • Gain base understanding of how to process, distribute, and retrieve subcontractor change orders
  • Gain base understanding of collecting pricing from subcontractors
  • 1-3 years’ experience

Command:

  • Demonstrates a clear command of all Jr. Project Coordinator responsibilities and expectations
  • Clear understanding of PC responsibilities

Character:

  • Lead by example of upholding core values
  • Demonstrate the attitude of a team player
